Is the procedure painful?
The Zerona™ is a low-level “cold” laser that emits a painless beam of light which targets the fat cells beneath the skin.

Will I feel any different after the procedure?
You should feel the same after your treatment as when you arrived in our office.

Are Niacin (Vitamin B-3) pills and cream helpful?
For those who can tolerate the flushed feeling that niacin can sometimes cause, and do not have any medical contraindication to taking it, oral and topical niacin used during the two week treatment has been shown to significantly enhance the fat removal effect of the Zerona™ laser.

Will the Zerona™ get rid of cellulite?
The Zerona™ laser reduces contours due to excess fat, not cellulite.

Will the fat deposit “elsewhere?”
Fat removed by the Zerona™ is metabolized and removed by the body.  There is no evidence that this fat deposits elsewhere.

Will the EB Pro Detox help "remove the fat"?
The Zerona Procedure breaks down the fat every time. Your ability to metabolize the fat is determined by your genetic makeup. The 'liquid fat' places an increased demand on your liver and lymphatic system for removal. If your liver and lymphatic system are unable to tolerate the increased load for fat removal, then it needs a little help. Can the fat return?
